Dear People of God.

“Jesus was God incarnate, a unique human being as the Son of Man. And yet the approach, method and content used by Jesus Christ in his teaching continue to be The paradigm for Christian education”.

Jesus Christ spent his public ministry teaching the people especially his disciples about the love of God. He was recognised and acknowledged as a great teacher by his disciples and public in general (John.3:2). He was God incarnate, a unique human being as the Son of Man. And yet the approach, method and content used by Jesus Christ in his teaching continue to be paradigm for Christian education. St. Francis School, 31 – Cantonment, Amritsar is a humble attempt by the Diocese of Jalandhar, a Catholic —Christian minority undertaking, to provide all with spiritual, moral and socio-ethical values based on Christian principles and values as taught by Jesus Christ irrespective of caste, creed and colour. I do appreciate you for the initiative and confidence with which you chose to educate your child in St. Francis School, 31 – Cantonment, Amritsar. May the wisdom of your ward begin with “the fear of the Lord” (Proverbs. 2:5) and that he/she learns to love God and his/her fellow beings (John. 13:34-35).

May God Bless you.

Dear Parents,

Real secret of success lies not in satisfying your present but to look forward, always with ever lasting efforts and seeing with new eyes and confidence. It’s our students' patronage that has helped us to cross many milestones of success. The world of education is limitless like a vast sea, which contains never ending waves of talent and confidence.

We are supposed to elaborate our education to create a perfect nation builder. Our School is always committed to inculcate disciplinary, patriotic and moral values among students. From the very beginning we are cultivating students along with their good character and thought provoking ideas. However, we must bear in mind that learning is a constant and continuous journey.

Many people keep the feeling that when they reach a certain point in attainment of a particular objective, they succeed, in the sense that there is nothing more to do. But, it is not a fact. New aims, new plans, new success and new attempts are necessary in life and there are objectives which make it worthwhile. Small goals should be made to achieve sooner and we should also open the way for larger aims in life, as a person learns to experience the feelings of success. “In the pilgrimage of constant and continuous learning, let us all move together towards ever-widening horizon.” Wishing all of you still greater heights in the new academic session.

Dear Parents and Well Wishers,

Education leads to transformation. It transforms everything and everyone beyond one’s imagination. If you want a change from the doom of darkness and if you are longing for a ray of light to shine upon you and your family then do nothing special but educate the other in your family, remind your child to dream and dream like Malala Yousafzai, the young inspiration of the present world who states in her book ‘I am Malala’: “Today I looked at myself in a mirror and thought for a second. Once I had asked God for one or two extra inches in height, but instead he made me as tall as the sky, so high that I could not measure myself. So I offered the hundred raakat nafl prayers that I had promised if I grew.” Let us also inspire our young minds to believe as Malala said: “One child, One teacher, One book, One pen can change the world”, and urge them to work hard to fulfill their dreams with the power of prayers, courage and conviction that they may change the world for a better tomorrow. For Jesus’ Most Sacred Heart invites and inspires: “let the little children come to me, do not stop them, for it is to such as these that the Kingdom of God belongs.” (Matthew 19:14)/p>
